Founded in 2012, Arsitek Studio is a Bali-based architecture and interior design practice dedicated to creating spaces of enduring quality. We work across residential, villa, and commercial typologies — each project approached with the same rigorous attention to craft and context.
Our work is rooted in a belief that great architecture emerges from deep understanding: of the site, the climate, the culture, and above all, the people who will inhabit the space. We take time to listen before we draw.
The result is a body of work that is diverse in typology but consistent in character — honest in its use of materials, generous in its relationship to landscape, and sensitive to the specific conditions of tropical living.

Principal Architect & Founder
With over 12 years of practice, Budi brings a rigorous academic foundation (Bachelor of Architecture, ITB Bandung) combined with years of professional experience across Bali's most demanding private and hospitality projects.
His design philosophy centers on the intersection of landscape and built form — creating architecture that belongs to its place rather than imposing upon it. He is a registered member of the Indonesian Institute of Architects (IAI).

How we approach every project
Context First
Every project begins with an immersion in its context — the site, the climate, the culture, and the community. We believe architecture that ignores its surroundings is architecture that fails.
Material Honesty
We use materials for what they are, not what they pretend to be. Concrete, timber, stone, and glass — each selected for their intrinsic qualities and sustainable sourcing.
Human Scale
Grand gestures matter, but so do the small moments: the quality of natural light at 4pm, the threshold experience between inside and outside, the texture of a handrail.
