Named for its singular, powerful exterior form, the Monolith House challenges conventional notions of residential architecture in Bali. From the street, it presents a composed, almost sculptural facade — a deliberate interiority that offers privacy without isolation.

Step inside, and the narrative shifts completely. The courtyard at the heart of the house cascades with tropical planting, and every principal room opens onto this private garden. Light moves through the house in a carefully choreographed sequence — harsh at the facade, then filtered and dappled within.
